HELP! Looking for HEATHERETTE!!!

So upon seeing some of the lipstick colours of the MAC Heatherette collection, I am lusting over all 4 of them!...If any of you know of anyone selling theirs or anywhere to get them...PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I would love to add these to my collection, theyre sooo pretty! Thanks!

The Little Blue Box!!!

Well today I got my first Tiffany's little blue box! The only thing is it didn't come with anything from Tiffany's inside it. But I have nothing to complain about since it had a Gucci ring inside :). Let me explain....When I was at Sephora's yesterday I saw a girl wearing this ring that I absolutely loved. I love hearts and thats what was inside the little blue box, a Gucci heart ring. A little gift to myself, the reason it came in a Tiffany's box is because it was the lady at the Tiffany's counter at Holt Renfrew who helped me and cashed me out, so she just put it in a little blue box, which was fine by me. The ring was $190, it was the last one they had and in my size too! Not sure yet if $190 is too much for a sterling silver ring, but it is Gucci and I have never seen anything like it before. What do you think?

MUFE + CARGO blu ray pressed powder = flawless skin!

So I know I am probably late on all the hype about MUFE's HD foundation, but better late than never! I have a mini haul to post tonight since I went to Sephora, MAC and the drug store yesterday. I was using MUFE face and body foundation but I hated the smell and found the shade for me too orangy, so I took it back, which is why I love Sephora so much, you can take back anything you don't like and I don't think there is even a time limit you have to bring it back as long as you have your receipt. Anyways I took it back and decided to try the HD. I had tried a sample before and thought I wouldn't like it, but I used it last night and today and I LOVE IT! I also got CARGO's blu-ray pressed powder which I lightly put over top and it looks flawless. My foundation has never looked better. I will let you know how it hold up for the day because my blush and face usually look blotchy by the end of the day so I am hoping that doesn't happen. The CARGO powder can also be worn by itself and put on using a sponge for heavier coverage. The girl helping me at Sephora put it on for me with the sponge and when I saw the look I was sold. I know I really haven't done many FOTD's but I will try tonight to show you the results. I am #117 in the HD so I am pretty light but I have given up thinking I have darker skin than I actually do and found I look much better when I just go with my natural colours. It is really not fair, my mom has beautiful olive skin and my brother got that and my dad has the pale or fair skin which is what I got!...LOL...oh well, learning to accept yourself and have confidence is what true beauty is all about!

Cutesy Girl Shoe Haul!

Forever 21 haul!

I haven't done much online shopping until these last couple weeks. I had a bad experience tho which almost put it to an end. I bought a GHD Pure straightener off Ebay, which all together came to $200...I bought it in June and then just a couple weeks ago went to use the how-to DVD and it wouldnt work. At that point I started googling GHD stuff and came to the realization that I was sold a counterfeit one. I am too late realizing this because Ebay and Paypal only give you 45 days to get your money back. I tried calling the guy who sold it to me and he just yelled at me like a maniac and threatened me, so needless to say I am out $200 for a straightener that will sit in its box. Anyways I got over my fear of online shopping, which I am not sure now if its a good thing or bad thing cuz it is so easy to spend money. I went on Forever 21 and bought a couple really cute things which I will show below, and also bought a bunch of awesome makeup from Cherry Culture, which I have to blame Natty for since she got me hooked. Weekly goals: to put an offer in by the end of the week on the PERFECT house my fiance and I found!!!...so excited but I must try to keep the emotions out of it otherwise I will be extremely dissapointed if we dont get it!

Again so sorry for the lack of posts...I have been feeling very uninspired and unmotivated lately

I did just end up doing some late night online shopping last night and bought a load of NYX stuff which was inspired by Miss Natty(thanks for getting me to spend more money lol)...so I will do a post on that as soon as it comes in and I have also been wanting to do a 'whats in your purse" post as well which I will be tagging some of u girls in!.....xoxox

MAC haul!!!

Hello Girlies...so sorry for my lack of blog updates this week has been very busy. I did have the chance to get to the MAC store for their Makeup Art Cosmetics Collection. The colours are beautiful and different from their last couple releases. I made an appointment which I was told was a $55 product purchase which was fine because I knew I would buy at least that much, although I probably won't make an appointment next time because all they do is your makeup pretty quickly and then watch while you choose what you are going to buy. Anyways with that being said I bought 5 things all together. I bought one of their technakohl eye liners in Artistic License which is a beautiful teal colour and I can already tell will stay really well on the water line. I did a swatch on my hand below and had a hard time scrubbing it off. I also got 2 pigments, I got Brash & Bold and Push the Edge. I love these colours since I find it hard to find really pigmented pinks or purples. I also got 2 eye shadows, I got Haunting, this colour was from the 2007 Alexander McQueen collection but is being repromoted. It's an awesome colour, I also got Violet Trance which is a really blueish purple. I would like to go back and get more...I really would like the green liner and the fushcia glitter and maybe some more eyeshadows. But thats all I had money for so I hope you like the swatches below and I will do some looks with the colours soon.

And just for fun because it is my nickname I posted the free sample of Lola by Marc Jacobs that I got from Sephora. If you're a beauty insider you most likely get their emails and I got an email that if you print it off and bring it in you get a free sample of this perfume. The sample is a pretty good size too. I am not sure yet if I love the smell. It's a bit stronger and heavier than I usually wear but I do think it will be a good smell for the fall coming up.

Don't judge a book by its cover FOTD!

So my Saturday was pretty low key...I got to do one of my favorite things tho. I love to go to a Starbucks in a Chapters or Indigo, order my favorite drink (venti iced green tea lemonade) and people watch or grab a million magazines and catch up on all the Hollywood gossip. It is one of those things that I just feel so relaxed doing and could do every weekend. Then I went to see The Ugly Truth which was pretty funny but very predictable. So I am posting my FOTD or night I guess....(sorry if I look naked but I'm not...lol)

I love this pic!...It's such an old pic of me lol It's me and my mom at a party for their 20th anniversary. It was a surprise party and it was so much fun. The theme of the party was the Oscars, so we gave out little mini golden oscars to best dressed and other categories. Great health and fitness read...

So I have really been trying to get into a good routine of eating properly and trying to exercise...I want to make it a lifestyle and not just go on diets...I really dont believe in diet pills or those '1 day lose 20 pounds diets'...I mean if they worked wouldn't we all look like Megan Fox? I have been doing better at the eating properly than with the exercise but I still have been doing a little bit here and there...I bought some Pilates videos and have done them a couple times and I LOVE them!...It just makes you feel so good and works all your muscles at the same time...as for my eating habits I picked up a great book (pictured above). It's by Louis J. Aronne and it is really well written and easy to understand. He really breaks down the science of food in an easy way and even makes it funny along the way! He provides you with eating tips for life that work! There are even food suggestions for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and your drinks. With plenty of yummy recipes that cut the calories and not the taste, I really recommend this book! Because I tend to sleep in in the mornings I have been making myself protein shakes and following the tips for lunch and dinner and I have already lost a couple pounds and don't feel as tired and have less mood swings!

First I will start with Kandee Johnson...I love this girl...she's so awesome...I have been going thru a bit of a rough time and have been at home a lot and looking for things to do to take my mind off everything...so I starting going on youtube...I randomly came upon her videos on youtube about makeup and lots of other related things...she really is very happy and optimistic and makes me smile when I read her cute little posts or watch her videos...shes so talented and even won in July for Elle magazine's first video star....shes very inspiring and I started with her because shes the one who got me pretty much started on blogging...check her out...
